  1.   Well, here it is.

  3. I included the .DAT files so you can see how I call things, my batch files, and
  4. all my menus.  I am in the process of changing some of the ASC/ANS files, but
  5. the menus will stay the same.

  7.   I use the following configuration for directories:

  10.   C:\
  11.   C:\QBBS    (Main QuickBBS files)
  12.   C:\QBBS\TXTFILES  (text files and displays)
  13.   C:\QBBS\MENUS     (all .MNU files)
  14.   C:\QBBS\DOORS\xxx (the xxx is each door name for onlines)
  15.   C:\QBBS\F\xxx     (the xxx is each file area name)
  16.  
  17.     I keep X00 in the root (bad habit #32,997), but just about everything else
  18. in C:\QBBS in the way of support files.

  20.     I run DesqView at 2/2 ticks, with the windows set for 470K normal RAM and
  21.     512K extended.

  23.     I run DOS 4.01 with 4DOS 4.0 under it.  I load EVERYTHING high with QEMM,
  24.     even Mixer, and everything runs fine for the most part.  I sometimes wake
  25.     up to a locked system, but Steve fixes things pretty well when I find them
  26.     broken.

  29.     Anyway, I hope this helps, it's gone through a few changes since 1.93, but
  30.     then so has everything! hehe
